Biography: For the past four or five generations the ancestors of the people living in this small village were idol worshippers. Christianity was introduced only 75 years ago by missionaries from the USA. The parents of Didla Vijith accept Christianity, but they are poor and have no ancestral property.  Educating their children is impossible as they have been unable to earn any more that the most basic of needs this is one reason we are opting for your liberal sponsorship to educate at least one child as it costs $32 per child per month. Please pray for this boy Vijith that a compassionate person like you will take up a child to educate. Thank you.

Environment: The Surroundings of this village is composed of water. The rains pore too much water as a consequence; there is water all round the year. The weather, the climate are suitable for paddy growth. There are coconut groves in the dry land. All these lands are owned and cultivated by the land lords. Vijith has two older brothers. They go to paddy fields for labor to work under land lords.

Their staple food is rice, they mix with curries and eat Dhal, fish, meat, lentils etc. most of them are malnourished because they can not afford to eat balanced food. Their houses are poor and exposed for contamination of various diseases. Please take up a child and sponsor him. Please do pray for this family. Thank you.
